RECENT ADVANCES IN VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY
CASE STUDIES 6:00 - 6:30 P.M.
1. Identify a scientific, evidence-based approach to
bio-identical (natural) hormone therapy.
2. Discuss work-up, lab interpretation, various HRT
regimens and monitoring therapy on bio-identical
hormone replacement.
3. Review basic principles, treatment protocols,
trouble-shooting, indications and contra indications
of hormone replacement therapy.
4. Address the need to replace the full compliment of
key hormones to optimal levels.
5. WHI study: discuss results of the study and its
practical implications.
6. Distinguish “normal” from “optimal” levels of
hormones.
7. Discuss a hormonal approach to “Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome”.
FEE: $1000.00 includes all conference materials and lunch.
An intensive 2 day preceptorship to be scheduled after the
conference is also included where the participant will receive
hands on training at Fort Wayne Endocrinology.
